## Sports Elections <a href="#society-elections" id="society-elections"></a>

You must, at the very least, elect your three main committee roles (President, Captain and Treasurer) annually in a democratic fashion. Only full members of your sports team may vote. Similar to the Students’ Union elections, the entire process is digital and will be managed through the Students’ Union website (goldsmithssu.org).

### Overview <a href="#overview" id="overview"></a>

1. Sports will tell us which roles they would like to make available to vote for. At a minimum, they must include President, Captain and Treasurer.
2. Candidates will nominate themselves for roles on the website. They may write a short manifesto.
3. During sports election week, registered members may vote online for the committee roles.
4. Sports will be given the results, and then must tell us about any additional committee members which are appointed outside of the election.
5. Once sports elections are over, each committee member must fill in[ this form.](https://docs.google.com/forms/u/0/d/1WjaGf_vhZhqeljWdJRTYQvYag8qHI81EnjupSmBHOTY/edit?usp=forms_home\&ths=true)

This must be done for everyone - if a member of your committee does not fill this in, is not we will not consider it until the form has been filled in.
