Getting the most out of Welcome Week

Welcome week is all about engagement. You should be asking yourself how to get the word out to as many different people as possible. Here are our top tips:
•Don't spend too long talking to each person - try and have as many conversations as possible.
•Encourage people to register as a member, but don't force them. You should be getting their contact details (name and email) so you can send them more information afterwards.
•Try and make sure you are relatable to as many people as possible - for example, if you are the rugby club, don't just reach out to people who are into rugby.
•Make sure there's something on your table to make people come over - whether it's flyers, photos, sweets, or otherwise.
•If you are able to, run an additional activity in the week to capture people's interest.
